# Organising Guests into Groups

Groups help you organise your guest list into meaningful segments — such as bride's family, groom's family, colleagues, or school friends.

**Groups are created automatically** when you type a new group name while adding or editing a guest.

**Benefits of using groups:**

* Easier to filter and find guests in large lists
* Helps identify which guests belong together
* Groups are preserved during bulk import if a group column is mapped

**To assign or change a guest's group:**

1. Go to **Guest List**
2. Click **Edit** on the guest row
3. Update the **Group** field — type to search existing groups or enter a new name
4. Click **Save**
